Designed to create ambient illumination, the 400W Vari-Space LED Series 2 Light from Mole-Richardson utilizes two proprietary 200W LEDs. It has a variable color temperature ranging from 2700 to 6500K and a generous CRI of 95+ for color accuracy. This upgraded model now features green and magenta correction, factory and user presets, dual user interface for local control, and a 2.8" LCD touchscreen plus a twist/push selector. For maximum flexibility it supports 4-channel DMX control (hardwired or via LumenRadio), RDM, upgradeable firmware, and Bluetooth connectivity via an app for iOS.
Durable Design
This fixture has an overall 2.4 x 2.5' size and an IP30 rating for durability. Its aluminum sheet metal construction features a textured black and red powder coat epoxy finish. Included are a universal 90-250 VAC power supply and a detachable 20' powerCON TRUE1 cable. The cooling system is forced air and the fan speed is controlled by temperature.
Mounting Options
Designed to hang overhead from its hanging cable assembly, the light accepts additional accessories including optional skirts and silks to expand its lighting possibilities. When hung with silk skirts and targets, it becomes an ambient fill light for soft baseline illumination. You can mount it an optional yoke mount to set it up as a Skypanel for lighting backdrops evenly from side to side.
