Opticron Explorer WA 8x42 Reviews
Excellent

This was a gift for my son who was going on a week long Canoe trip through the Okefenokee Swamp. He said it is perfect for fitting in his pack. I chose this model because I read that most marine monocular and binoculars are lower powers because at higher powers it is hard to find the subject being observed when rocking in a boat. I also choose the larger lens for viewing in lower light because that may be the case in the swamp. My son wears glasses and said he appreciates the ability to use the monocular without removing his glasses. His trip is scheduled soon so we don't know how the monocular will perform but he is very happy to have it.
