Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron Woodwinds Full Library is a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the sound of thirteen solo woodwind instruments and seven woodwind ensembles (also included in the Big Bang Orchestra Series). The instruments were masterfully played in Synchron Stage A, Vienna at their designated positions onstage.
Engineers employed seven separate phase-coherent microphone configurations, recorded simultaneously with every nuanced detail to provide a broad range of room-sound options. Using the included Vienna Synchron Player, all mic configurations can be mixed to create stereo, 5.1 surround, or 9.1 Auro-3D mixes, each with different levels of ambience and stereo panorama, from close and focused, to broad and epic. This 182.4GB Full Library comprises more than 502,344 samples.

Consistent and Well-Balanced Articulations
- All of the instruments in uninterrupted recording blocks, which guarantees a consistent sound across all articulations and dynamic layers—an essential feature that lets you create effortlessly coherent and fluid performances.
- In order to play agile and at the same time expressive legatos, all solo instruments feature regular and fast legato variants. By selecting the Auto-Speed patch, the Vienna Synchron Player provides you with authentic note transitions depending on the tempo of your playing.
- A large pool of assorted short-note articulations allows for a variety of accentuation and virtuosic nonlegato performances.
- Special attention was given to capturing musical and tasteful vibrato by all of the soloists, while equal emphasis was applied to the expressive nonvibrato articulations, which are needed for ensemble playing where vibrato is not typically used.
