Find something else! I purchased two of these high-capacity Kingston jump drives to back up photos on a trip to Ireland. When I tried to back up SD cards from my Sony I found the process took a very long time. Now that I am home, and would have needed these backups -- in case of SD corruption, which I hope hasn't happened, I discovered why -- these drives are absolutely the slowest writing and reading I have ever owned. They are truly less than worthless, because a person would be relying on them for safety back-ups. [I'm a bit perplexed, since no other Kingston drives I have bought, and it's a LOT, have been THIS BAD!]

I need it on a job.

ebay says this drive has password protection, but B&H doesn't say so. does it have password protection?

Password protection could be set up for this drive, but it is not included. You can set up password protection with BitLocker (Included with Windows Pro), or third-party applications like VeraCrypt.
