Small adapter that extends the ports available on my MBP. Adapter can be used on left or right side and only takes up a single USBC port. Easily plug-in up to 3 USB 2 / 3 devices. It easly reads SD Cards, which is great as i have a Transcend SD drive for local storage always inserted in the onboard SD reader.   The device also read MicroSD carsds, but I don't have any lying around to test.

This hub is so helpful! My current desktop setup has my computer hidden away, so having this to plug USB devices and SD cards into is very handy! It has super fast transfer speeds, and looks great too! No complaints from me!

What's the speed rating in Mb/s for this hub? Or how fast could it transfer?

USB 3.2 Gen 1 provides a theoretical maximum transfer speed of 5 Gbps. (USB names underwent an industry-wide rescaling, a promotion like devaluation.)

The Satechi USB 3.0 Type-C 3-In-1 Combo Hub (Silver) BH #SASTTCUHS does not have a external power supply for passthrough power.
