Middle Things MID-MIDREMOTE Overview

The remote can also work alongside the Middle Things APC-R to control Blackmagic Pocket Cinema and URSA cameras, Blackmagic ATEM series switchers, and gimbals such as the DJI Ronin series. The remote plugs into a macOS or Windows computer using the included USB cable, and it is configured using the free-to-download Make Pro X Glue and Middle Control software.

Software

Middle Control Software

The Middle Control software has been optimized to run very smoothly with the Middle Remote. From the Camera ID selection buttons to the camera settings (Iris, ISO, White Balance, Focus, Contrast, Saturation), every function has been made controllable by the remote.

Glue Software

When you trigger an action on the Middle Remote, it will be sent out to the Glue software, which sends it to Middle Control and is then translated to the ATEM switcher, camera, or gimbal. The Glue software allows you to configure the mapping on the remote. Thanks to Middle Control's compatibility with Make Pro X Glue and Bitfocus Companion, you can expand the scope of your remote, the only limit being technical creativity.
