If I currently have transmitters from the Sony UWP-D27 series in this frequency would they sync up or not? Due to the different model numbers of the transmitter and receiver.
Asked by: Jordan
The Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver will work with any Sony UWP-D Series transmitters as long as the frequency band is the same. For example, if your transmitter is tuned to frequency band UC90, the receiver will also need to be matched to the UC90 frequency band.

Which is the best of the three band choices for New York City?
Asked by: Brian
Ignore what the staff member said, and get UC90 ( 941 to 960 MHz) This is one of the strengths of the Sonys! They're the only ones to offer affordable prosumer wireless in the new 941 to 960 MHz bandwidth. Usually you'd have to buy professional wireless to be able to use those frequencies, such as from Lectrosonics.

No. I think you are referring to the Analog/Digital switch on the optional SMAD-P5 Digital MI Shoe Adapter (B&H # SOSMADP5) that allows you to mount the Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver on select Sony camcorders and cameras equipped with the MI shoe to enable cable-free connection for both audio and power.
