Tool-less access to the system's interior allows you to customize your Z to fit your needs. Enhance performance when working on complex design tasks by installing up to 128GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 ECC memory across four DIMM slots. Three M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots support a total of 36TB, in addition to 3.5" drive bays. Add RAID configurations for increased performance and reliability.
Also inside is one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot with an x16 connector, and one PCIe Gen 3 x1 slot for compatible expansion cards. This system runs using a 450W power supply.
The Z2 G9 SFF features one 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port with 5V / 3A of charging power, plus four 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, three 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and three 480 Mb/s USB 2.0 Type-A ports.
