The Simply45 VDV II PLUS Cable Tester expands upon the efficiency of the VDV II with distance to open detection, a larger 2.9" display, and the inclusion of various cables and connectors. A 6-pin RJ-11/RJ-12 port, an RJ45 port, and a Coax F-type port allow you to connect and verify copper cables typically found in domestic, commercial, or industrial applications. The VDV II PLUS can subsequently measure the cable's length and distance to open then display it on the large, 2.9" backlit screen.
An analog tone generator helps identify signals or cross-connections within the cabling. Wiremap technology determines where there might be damage to the cable with miswires, shorts, or opens. The included remote unit or dual-port remote unit can be embedded into the bottom of the device for easy storage and portability. Various cables and connectors included with the VDV II PLUS allow you to test different cable types and connections with a singular device. The VDV II PLUS is powered by an included 9V alkaline battery and it can be stored with all of its accessories in the carrying case.
