Insta360 Monkey Tail Mount

I was really excited about this product, as it's typically rated pretty well on websites. When I initially received it, everything was impressive, although it was shorter than I anticipated. Once I began using it, I ran into problems. As it turns out, the compatibility information is not correctly listed everywhere. I own an X4, which is notably the heaviest product in Insta360's lineup. In some places, I saw it was listed as a compatible device, while in others it was not. Eventually, I purchased the item anyway. To my surprise, I discovered the Monkey Tail accessory was not rigid enough to support my camera in almost any of the positions in which I would have liked to use it. Ultimately, to fix the problem, I tried tightening the accessory further, resulting in the 1/4 connector breaking. I'm sure this accessory can work for other cameras, but it sure doesn't work for an X4. Combined with a lack of clear documentation, I can't recommend it.
