Meike Super35-Prime Cine 25mm T2.1 Overview

Capture crisp, cinematic images when using your cinema camera with this PL mount 25mm T2.1 Super35 Prime Cine Lens from Meike. The 25mm prime adds to the Meike series of lenses that features a 33.6mm image circle for Super35mm sensor coverage. This prime lens has a fast T2.1 maximum aperture, standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, and a 9-bladed iris for smooth, rounded bokeh.

Scale markings are provided in both feet and meters, it has a 77mm filter thread, and a focus rotation of 270° allows for precision manual focus adjustment. With an 85mm focal length, this cine lens has a horizontal angle of view of 64.2° and a minimum focus distance of 13.8".

a horrifying moment occurred on set when my camera fell lens down, no cap onto a rock. the filter ring absorbed all the impact and bent in a crazy way, but saved the glass. all the elements are still in place and the gears turn just as well. phenomenal construction.

Worth the extra hundred or so over the Rokinons, Samyangs

The Rokinon/Samyang cine lenses in this price range are basically their photo lenses with cine gears. Nice for starters--I have two of them--but these Meikes are bonafide cine lenses and not much more money. Main differences are less focus breathing and longer focus ring throw. Much easier to nail focus pulls.

As long as you have a PL to MFT adapter, you can attach this lens to any MFT camera.

The Meike 25mm T2.1 Super35 Prime Cine Lens is for EF mount Super35 cameras like the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro.

Will this work with a Metabones 0.64 speedbooster on Blackmagic 4K?

The Metabones 0.64 adapter will work with full frame lenses as well as APS-C lenses like the Meike 25mm T2.1 Super35 Prime Cine Lens. You may use APS-C lenses, but you can only shoot exclusively in 4K.
