Up to five 2.5" or 3.5" SATA III drives may be installed into the IoSafe 1520+, reaching up to 70TB, and configured for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and Synology Hybrid modes. Adding separately purchased expansion modules using the two integrated eSATA ports may increase the capacity to 210TB. This NAS enclosure integrates with your network through four Gigabit Ethernet ports, which may be combined into 2G groups with link aggregation. Performance
Powered by a 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor with 8GB of DDR3L memory, this NAS system is designed to provide smooth data backups and transfers. You can further enhance performance by installing up to two M.2 solid-state cache drives.
Connectivity
In addition to having four Gigabit Ethernet ports, the IoSafe 1520+ includes two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports that can transfer up to 5 Gb/s with compatible devices. Its two eSATA ports are designed to support separately sold storage expansion modules.
