I am new to storage systems so please bare with me. I have an abundance of ssd and hhd harddrives and am currently working on my first feature, so instead of adding more, I want to considate to one system, while keeping my other files on it as well (word, music, photoshop etc). Am I able to do that with this device? If so, to clarify, can I moved everything from the other hardrives into this cloud? Lastly, is Dropbox apple Dropbox or does black magic have its own version? Thank you
Asked by: Elizabeth C
The Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod BH #BLCP does not have any internal storage so you wouldn't be able to consolidate all your data into a single drive but it would allow you to connect external hard drives and have them available on your network. There is native Dropbox integration.

does this support raid 1?

does this support raid 1?
Asked by: Mike
As per Blackmagic support: "The storage device has to have a USB-C interface. And it has to present itself as a single drive, ExFAT or HFS+ formatted." Most RAID drive sets present as multiple drives and will not work. This seems to be intentional from BM and they also say there are no plans to support RAID sets.
