With an upgraded 19" 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen display and 1200 cd/m² brightness, the Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher maintains the same 4K recording, monitoring, and switching capabilities of its predecessor with a sharper and brighter display. Two 12G-SDI inputs, two 3G-SDI inputs, and one HDMI 2.0 input can receive video signals up to 4K60 and support live quad-channel switching. Intuitive Interface
The Sumo 19" SE can record in ProRes RAW and 8-bit+FRC 422 ProRes/DNxHR encoding formats. RAW, Log, PQ, and HLG outputs from various cameras or gaming consoles can be processed by the device and mapped to display 10+ stops of dynamic range HDR in real time. This makes the Sumo 19" SE ideal for monitoring in the field by the director or client. Two XLR inputs with +48V phantom power support balanced audio recording with external devices. Included desktop feet, mounting supplies, and various power supply options allow you to easily integrate the Sumo 19" SE into your studio setup.

The Best Monitor Process There Is!

This monitor allows you to see everything from the start of shooting to color grading the final all on the same monitor, color inconsistencies are gone! It's brighter than my OLED and Micro LED monitors by far. I can never go back to filming on one monitor only to have it look different on my desktop system.

I run tech at a TV Studio and do a great deal of freelance work
It not only serves as a recorder, color correct monitor, client review monitor BUT I also put it in line as a switcher for livestreams
Great product
There are points to improve, but still fantastic

The Hollyland Cosmo C1 receiver works perfectly using HDM to the SUMO 19 HDMI port. How to use SDI? Which monitor settings?
Asked by: Shiggy
To use the Hollyland Cosmo C1 SDI/HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System with the Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher, an SDI cable would be needed to connect to one of the SDI in ports on the Sumo. You would then select the corresponding SDI input on the input menu.

What is the record duration for 4 simultaneous ...
What is the record duration for 4 simultaneous ProRes RAW 4k inputs at 24p? And 60p? Use a 1tb SSD for an example please.
I also want to confirm this can record four simultaneous 4k inputs.... Not just four 1080p simultaneous inputs.
Asked by: Brandon
I estimate that the Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher would fill up a 1TB SSD in 55 minutes when shooting 4k ProRes Raw at 24p and it would fill 1TB in around 20 minutes at 60p.

Is there any way to adjust color in the field to match other monitors besides the lift gamma gain controls in Display Options?

Unfortunately, no. They left out any color adjustments in favor of recommending people buy expensive calibration cables/equipment to fix the issues their brand new monitors have.

You are only able to change the brightness of the Atomos Sumo 19" SE HDR Monitor, Recorder, and Switcher when the monitor is set to certain sources as the Native Video Source, such as REC 709 or a Custom Look.
