Severe latency problems

The problem with plug-and-play devices is that when they don't work, you don't have any recourse. I ordered two of these, and both had exactly the same issues, on Windows and on Mac - I got 1-2 frames per second instead of 30. I tried Vmix, I tried it in OBS, I tried it as a webcam in Zoom. Nothing I did could make this device work anywhere near acceptably. Anyways, I'm returning it and sticking with Magewell. They're pricier, but at least they work

Does this capture and output 10-bit video into the computer?
The Atomos Nexus HDMI to USB Converter is only converting the ouput signal from your source and does not affect the bit rate. If the Nexis receives a 10-bit signal it will output 10-bit as well.
