Its smooth matte keys feature clicky switches that are designed with an audible click and tactile feedback that lets you know when each keystroke has registered. This full-size, low-profile keyboard also includes dual color keycaps that are easily seen using peripheral vision so that you can orient your hands without breaking your concentration. Additionally, the Smart Illumination backlighting turns on when it senses your hands approaching and adjusts to match the lighting conditions of your environment, so you'll always have a clear view of the keys.

Customize your keyboard to fit your workflow with the Logi Options+ software for Windows and macOS. The Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Keyboard connects to your system using the included Logi Bolt USB Type-A receiver or via Bluetooth. It may be paired with up to three devices, and you can switch between them with the touch of a button. This wireless keyboard is designed to work with Windows 10 and 11, macOS 10.15, iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and Android 8.0 or later in addition to Linux and Chrome OS devices.

Logi Options+
The Logi Options+ software lets you manage and customize your supported mice and keyboards through an easy-to-use interface. Reassign your device's buttons and keys to perform your common and repetitive tasks, so you can save time and get more done. Flow technology allows you to seamlessly control multiple computers and transfer text, images, and files between computers by copying on one and pasting to the other. You can also use the software to see your battery level, get notifications if Caps Lock is on, and check which computers are paired with your devices.
Smart Illumination
The backlit keys help to conserve battery by only lighting up as your hands approach. Use the Logi Options+ software or press the Fn and bulb keys at the same time to customize lighting effects. Presets include breathing, highlighting modifier keys, a progressive wave across the keyboard, random key lighting, or having each key illuminate as you press them.
Long Battery Life
The Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Keyboard has an integrated battery that is rated to last up to 15 days or up to 10 months with the backlighting off before needing to be recharged through the USB Type-C port.
Logi Bolt Technology
The Logi Bolt receiver plugs into an available USB 2.0 Type-A port to provide secure and reliable connections with compatible devices in increasingly congested wireless environments. Based on Bluetooth Low Energy technology, Logi Bolt includes multiple security measures such as encrypted connections with compatible devices, and is designed to minimize vulnerability risks in both office and work-from-home environments. The receiver is designed to work with multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and Linux. Up to six devices may be paired with a single receiver through the Logi Options+ software.

Backlight Blues

The lack of ability to change the duration on the backlight time-out is infuriating. They say it's to extend battery life. I don't care if I have to charge the thing every night. I work in a dark room. The keyboard backlight turning off after 5 seconds is ridiculous. Give us ability to set the timeout in the Logi Options + App and stop treating me like a child that can't understand the concept of battery life. Great keyboard other than that.

The MX Mechanical is incredibly comfortable and precise to type on, with a premium feel that’s obvious right away. I chose the clicky version and it is gloriously loud and satisfying, exactly what I wanted. It makes typing feel fun again and I genuinely look forward to using it every day—even if everyone else in my house hears it too.
