The m908 from Grace Design is a powerful and flexible digital audio converter and reference monitor controller engineered to deliver impeccable clarity and detail for professional multichannel immersive audio applications. The system is capable of handling a wide variety of formats ranging from mono up to SONY 360RA and Dolby Atmos 22.2 system and includes an intuitive remote controller.

Built to handle a wide range of broadcast, gaming, and film applications, the self-contained, plug-and-play system provides a full complement of monitoring features including cue channels, a built-in talkback mic, and mono, mute, and dim controls. Scaled up from the m905 to handle more channels, the m908 consists of a mainframe unit that serves as the connection hub, a remote control unit, and a power supply with dual-redundant universal input power modules.

An Artix-7 FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is responsible for the digital conversions, with a 1 GHz 32-bit floating-point DSP handling audio signal processing. The Linux-based operating system and user interface run on an ARM-Cortex A-15 processor. The system clock uses Grace's 4th generation s-Lock PLL technology to provide incredibly low jitter PLL that provides exceptional sample clocking accuracy.
