Significantly widen the stereo image of your tracks and open up new creative ways to shape sound with SPL BiG, a double-slot module compatible with any 500 Series chassis.
With just three controls, BiG is simple and intuitive to use. The Range knob selects the frequency range which you want to process. The Stage knob lets you move the selected frequency range backwards or forwards on the stereo stage. Then, the magic happens when you turn the huge BIGNESS knob to adjust the intensity of the stereo-image shaping effect to your liking. BiG is also equipped with a BASS/Off switch that can be used to activate or deactivate an additional bass boost following the BIGNESS section.
Producers will appreciate that with BiG, the processed stereo signal, when summed to mono, creates a clean mono signal without phase shifts, cancellations, or other unwanted artifacts.
