JBL SRX906LA BP Overview

Audio professionals looking to ground-stack a SRX900 Series line array will need the JBL Base Plate for SRX906LA Arrays. The base plate is a universal adapter frame that allows up to six SRX906LA arrays to be ground stacked atop of compatible subwoofers or support structures such as scaffolding, stages, or carts.

The rear angle selection bar allows for angles ranging from -15 to +5°. For smaller setups, the base plate is compatible with the JBL pole mount adapter, which connects to the SRX918S or SRX928S subwoofers via the M20 connector. The pole mount configuration can support up to two SRX906LA arrays. Additionally, the three included M10 through-holes can be used to permanently attach an SRX906LA array to other support structures.

I got to use a single SRX 906LA on this baseplate on top of a tripod with the VTX PM adapter. During sound check certain notes from the keyboard were causing a rattle. I was worried that my new speaker had a problem. Turned out to be the M20 wing nut washer. I wasn't using it so I put it back where it stores the angle plate. But without the angle plate the washer is loose and rattles at 400! Simple fix. Keep this in mind or you'll think your speaker has a problem, it probably doesn't. Either leave off the M20 wing nut if you aren't using it or maybe use a few extra washers so the stock washer isn't loose. The M20 is meant to mount this plate to a sub, but if you mount to a tripod, keep this in mind. The plate is amazing otherwise!
