Deity Microphones C15 Overview

Use the Deity Microphones C15 cable to feed timecode signal from a TC-1 timecode box generator to various cameras and devices. This cable features a right-angle, locking 3.5mm TRS male connector at one end and a right-angle BNC connector at the other.

While this is a simple cable to make, I really appreciate the build quality and price Deity has on their TC cables. Good components, looks nice (yellow helps me make sure I get it back), and price, what more do you need to know!

Technically yes, you could plug the TRS connector of the Deity Microphones C15 Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to Right-Angle BNC Timecode Cable into the Sony ZV-E1's 3.5mm audio input, but this won't accomplish anything. The 3.5mm tip of the cable is meant to connect to the Deity TC-1's timecode output, and the BNC connector goes into a camera's BNC timecode input. The ZV-E1 doesn't have a BNC timecode input, or any timecode input at all.

No, the Deity Microphones C15 Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to Right-Angle BNC Timecode Cable is not compatible for use with the Tentacle Sync TRACK E Pocket Audio Recorder. Instead, you can use the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable - Right-Angle, 16" (B&H # TEC08) or the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable - Straight, 16" (B&H # TEC06).

No, the Deity Microphones C15 Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to Right-Angle BNC Timecode Cable is intended for use with the Deity Microphones TC-1 Wireless Timecode Generator Box (B&H # DEDTT0272D80) which uses a locking 3.5mm connector. The BNC connector would be for connection to the timecode input on the device that you are connecting to. The Blackmagic Design Video Assist 5" 12G-SDI/HDMI HDR Recording Monitor has a non-locking 3.5mm audio input, so if you are jamming timecode to the audio input you need a cable that has a non-locking 3.5mm TRS connector. If you are feeding timecode from a device with BNC timecode output, you can use the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable - Right-Angle, 16" (B&H # TEC08) or the Tentacle Sync Tentacle to BNC Cable - Straight, 16" (B&H # TEC06).
