This Rain Protection camera cloak from PortaBrace is designed to keep a broadcast studio camera with a Fujinon 4K Premier UHD UA107X8.4 lens dry while shooting outdoors in the worst weather conditions. It covers a tally light, studio viewfinder (monitor), a large box or sports lens attached to the broadcast camera, pan/tilt arms, controls, and video tripod head. The cloak is made from a 3-layer bond of tough, 200-denier nylon oxford, a waterproof sheet of Fabuthane, and a soft layer of nylon tricot. Long sleeves help keep you dry while operating the camera. There are three hand warmer pockets in each sleeve for PortaBrace Polar heat packs to maintain warmth and keep your arms and hands working the camera during cold outdoor events.
The cloak has lots of zippers that make putting the cloak on and taking it off easy to do. Nylon pull-ties cinch at all openings to help secure it around the camera and keep out unwanted rain, dust, and other airborne particles. A clear vinyl window at the front of the cloak allows the tally light to shine through.
