PolarPro MORPH-VND Reviews

Vertical lines problem

As a doc filmmaker based in Ghana, I picked up this ND filter expecting strong performance, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. Shooting in daylight, I encountered noticeable vertical lines across my footage, which compromised the final output and led to a reshoot with the client. Based on this experience, I would not recommend it, especially for those shooting predominantly in African lighting conditions.

Not Great in Sunny Situations

Assumed this filter would provide for shooting in reasonably sunny situations, as that's when the good flares can be had, but it was absolutely unusable at both ends of the ND spectrum. As you can see from the provided photo, the vertical lines ruin the shot. Will give it a try at night, but I'm pretty disappointed in this $80 filter.
