What side is up and what is the plastic tab for? I don't feel a positive click with either the label up or down.
The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi 10G SFP+ Direct Attach Cable (3.3') should be connected so that the contacts of the SFP+ connectors make contact with the contacts of the host plug. The plastic tabs are there to assist with remove of the connectors.
