The Lexmark MS823DN Monochrome Laser Printer comes with two paper input trays but can be upgraded with a maximum of six trays to support up to 4400 paper sheets. Some of the supported trays are lockable. Also supported are an optional 4-bin mailbox, a staple finisher, and a staple hole punch finisher. The MS823DN prints on up to legal size paper in resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi or 2400 x 600 dpi (2400 IQ), with 0.167" margins all around. Connections consist of Ethernet and USB-B interfaces. There's also USB-A port for printing from USB flash drives.

Lexmark MS823dn Overview

The Lexmark MS823DN Monochrome Laser Printer comes with two paper input trays but can be upgraded with a maximum of six trays to support up to 4400 paper sheets. Some of the supported trays are lockable. Also supported are an optional 4-bin mailbox, a staple finisher, and a staple hole punch finisher. The MS823DN prints on up to legal size paper in resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi or 2400 x 600 dpi (2400 IQ), with 0.167" margins all around. Connections consist of Ethernet and USB-B interfaces. There's also USB-A port for printing from USB flash drives.

The MS823DN offers automatic two-sided (duplex) printing. The print speed is 65 ppm for single-sided prints and 39 spm for duplex prints. The first page prints out in 4.2 seconds. The monthly duty cycle is 300,000 pages, with a range of 5000 - 75,000 recommended.

A 11,000 page starter black ink cartridge is included. Supported replacement cartridges offer up to a 55,000-page yield. The MS823DN also has a card slot for optional RS-232C serial interface cards.

We purchased several of these (MS823DN). They are very reliable (using them for years now). Note: The 823 model supports ultra high yield toner cartridges (the 821 model does not). Use Lexmark toner for best quality.
