When Dell & HP eliminated the trackpoint between the G&H keys, I searched for a way to avoid using the built in trackpad & this little mouse pointer came to the rescue as a plug and play device!
Great LITTLE mouse for Linux

I needed a little mouse. Very little. Got this from BHPhoto and was impressed. Then I put Linux on the Microsoft Surface Go and the mouse works even better. Much easier for me than the trackpad with no separate buttons. The MP Mini Mouse itself is only 29 grams. Maybe the short USB cord brings it up to the 33g in the specs. Very pleased with how small and light this is. And it works great, allowing precise selections for editing photos, etc. Battery life so far has been excellent.
