Will this power the R5c? It looks like it provides 18w power via usbc, but the R5c is asking for around 27w from what I read. Anyone try this battery and the R5c yet?

When using the Sound Devices Mix Pre 6II, for USB Bus power, "Sound Devices recommends wall-powered USB hubs, which deliver appropriate current." As the manufacturer suggests, we cannot recommend the Zilr 74.37Wh L-Series/NP-F970 Lithium-Ion Battery with USB Type-C PD Output for USB power.

Yes with this battery you will not need to use a dummy battery. you will charge the camera via USB-C.

What is the max output of this? I'm hoping to mount it to an NP-F plate and power my Video Assist through that, and then power my camera through the USB-C.

That is exactly what it is designed to do. It will power your monitor as well as your camera. The max output from the USB-C port is 20V/0.9A.
