Built with Epson's PrecisionCore Heat-Free printing technology, the Epson WorkForce WF-2960 is a professional-quality home office printer designed to deliver sharp text and vibrant colors at fast speeds.
The multifunction printer features print, scan, copy, and fax functions. It prints in up to 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution and can be set up with automatic two-sided (duplex) printing. The standard print speed is approximately 14 ppm in black and 7.5 ppm in color. The duplex print speed is 6.5 ppm in black and 4.5 ppm in color. The paper input tray holds 150 sheets of paper. Four standard capacity Claria 222 ink cartridges are included. Optional high-capacity Claria 222XL cartridges are also supported.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows a wireless workflow in which print commands can be launched from the Epson Smart Panel app (iOS/Android), Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and other apps/services. With an optional Epson Connect account and voice-activated account registration, print commands can also be triggered from Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant. There are also Ethernet and USB interfaces for network or direct-to-computer connectivity. The WF-2960 is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS.
For scanning, you can use the flatbed or the automatic document feeder (ADF), which holds up to 30 letter-sized sheets of paper or 10 legal-sized sheets. A free-download Epson ScanSmart software allows you to create searchable PDFs and more.
