Moment Variable ND Filter (52mm, 2 to 5-Stop)
Key Features
  • Variable 0.6 to 1.5 Optical Density
  • Schott B270 Glass, Multicoated
  • Dust, Water, Oil, and Scratch Resistant
  • Darkens Entire Image
This 2 to 5-stop, 52mm Moment Variable ND Filter is designed to mount onto lenses with 52mm front filter threads. Its 0.6 to 1.5 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally possible. The degree of density is easily controlled by rotating the front filter ring, helping you to predetermine the additional exposure length required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. For easier, repeatable control over density settings, the front ring is visually demarcated with lines representing the different stop values and features side knurlings to further enable fast and precise positioning. To help ensure consistent exposures, the front ring is designed to prevent any rotation beyond the stop values etched on it.

If I put a Moment 72mm VND filter(2 to 5-Stop) on a Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS lens, will the vignetting appear at 16mm?
Asked by: seunghee
Yes vignetting is likely to appear since Moment 72mm Variable Neutral Density 0.6 to 1.5 Filter is thick and that lens is very wide and if you are using that lens on a full frame camera.
