Using a direct-to-card dye sublimation/resin thermal transfer process with rewrite capability, the Primacy 2 can create vivid, detailed cards at resolutions starting at 300 x 300 dpi and going up to 300 x 1200 dpi. The Primacy 2 can produce up to 280 single-sided cards per hour. It uses CR-80 cards and has 100-card input and output hoppers and a 50-card reject tray.

This printer is a constant headache. It will work fine one day then the next you'll spend 3 hours troubleshooting and eventually have to reinstall the software or drivers. If you need something reliable that is going to work day in and day out with minimal delays - this printer is not for you. And good luck trying to get a hold of support. They'll kick you right down the road to the distributor (not B&H) in your area.

Although the Evolis Primacy 2 Expert Single-Sided ID Card Printer comes with a USB cable, it DOES NOT come with an Ethernet cable.
