Can the original probe lens be rotated as well? If I wanted to do a spinning/rotating shot with that as well.
The rotation of the Venus Optics LAOWA 24mm T14-40 Full Frame 2x PeriProbe Cine Lens refers to being able to rotate the lens barrel so the markings can be read. It does not rotate the image. To do that, you need to rotate the camera.

The Venus Optics LAOWA 24mm T14-40 Full Frame 2x PeriProbe Cine Lens (RF Mount) includes both the 0 degree direct view module and the 90 degree periscope module, and both modules use the same 24mm T14 optical system, so there is no difference in focal length or the core lens quality, but the 90 degree module provides the perpendicular viewing perspective while the direct view module provides the standard probe perspective.

Is the tip of this lens waterproof? Can it be used inside of an aquarium or small body of water like a tide pool? If so, up to what point on the tube is is waterproof?
The Venus Optics LAOWA 24mm T14-40 Full Frame 2x PeriProbe Cine Lens (PL Mount) does have a waterproof front barrel, allowing users to underwater shots with out additional water proofing. You can only submerge the lens a few inches.
