The SHAPE Camera Cage with 15mm LWS Rod System is a formfitting cage specifically designed for the Canon R5C, R5, and R6 cameras. Made of CNC-machined aluminum, the cage offers multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with anti-rotating ARRI hole patterns. The cage allows unobstructed access to all camera functions, including the memory card and battery compartment, side buttons, and the lens release button.
A 15mm LWS rod baseplate system attaches underneath the cage with four M4 screws, and additional support is provided with a height-adjustable Metabones bracket included at the front of the baseplate. On the bottom of the baseplate are three threaded holes to facilitate the attachment of quick release tripod plates for quick switching from tripod to shoulder rig configuration.
A full-size HDMI cable lock keeps your video cable securely in place, and the camera can be fully operated without having to remove the cable doors. Cold shoe mounting options are available on the included aluminum top handle, and for vertical shoots, a second handle can be attached to the sides of the cage.
