The Shoulder Mount for Canon EOS R5 C, R5, and R6 bundles the SHAPE Camera Cage with 15mm LWS Rod System for Canon EOS R5 C, R5, and R6 with a Quick Handle + Rod Block, a set of 18" 15mm rods, a composite mini shoulder pad, and a back pad, resulting in a versatile shoulder mount system with a modular design that allows you to add or remove parts as needed for your particular shooting application. In full assembly, you have a sturdy shoulder mount rig with handles and a shoulder pad made of slip-free material that will allow you to work comfortably for hours on end.
The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad is padded for comfort and made of slip-free material. The screw knob allows the attachment of optional counterweights. By adding extra rods at the back, you can also attach a counterweight to easily support the weight of the camera and its accessories and for greater stability. The shoulder pad is a perfect solution for switching from shoulder to tripod without needing to remove the shoulder pad, which can remain on the camera rig permanently.
The SHAPE Back Pad comes with a powder-coated, anodized aluminum plate and arm attached to a thick padding on the side. It can be easily attached or removed from your rig via a 1/4"-20 camera screw knob. Additionally, the back pad's position can be adjusted to your preference—up to 2" vertically and 360° horizontally. The bottom of the back pad is designed with two 1/4"-20 threaded holes, allowing for mounting other accessories or counterweights.
The SHAPE Camera Cage with 15mm LWS Rod System is a formfitting cage specifically designed for the Canon R5C, R5, and R6 cameras. Made of CNC-machined aluminum, the cage offers multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with anti-rotating ARRI hole patterns. The cage allows unobstructed access to all camera functions, including the memory card and battery compartment, side buttons, and the lens release button.
A 15mm LWS rod baseplate system attaches underneath the cage with four M4 screws, and additional support is provided with a height-adjustable Metabones bracket included at the front of the baseplate. On the bottom of the baseplate are three threaded holes to facilitate the attachment of quick release tripod plates for quick switching from tripod to shoulder rig configuration.
A full-size HDMI cable lock keeps your video cable securely in place, and the camera can be fully operated without having to remove the cable doors. Cold shoe mounting options are available on the included aluminum top handle, and for vertical shoots, a second handle can be attached to the sides of the cage.
The Shape Quick Handle + Rod Block is a professional video stabilization accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A simple push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal.
Combined with the anodized aluminum Rod Block, the Quick Handle offers composite camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block. With 2 screw-threaded holes, the Rod Block provides for attachment of components such as the Quick Handle.
This pair of 15mm Aluminum Rods from SHAPE connects to your camera rig, extending it and letting you add compatible accessories. With these two rods and a few fundamental accessories, you can begin building your own rig from scratch.
The rods are each 15mm in diameter, 18" long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminum with a silver finish.
The SHAPE Mini Composite Shoulder Pad is a comfort-padded and comfort-shaped shoulder pad for the back of your camera rig. Outfitted with a 15mm-mount SHAPE Rod Block, the pad attaches right onto a pair of 15mm rods, slides into the best position on them, and tightens in place by a quality lever. It also has a black Screw Knob under which you can add a SHAPE Counter Weight or a SHAPE Back Pad, both optional and both back-supported accessories that work as extensions of the shoulder pad. The Screw Knob's screw is a 1/4"-20 screw. If you remove the Screw Knob, you'll have yourself a 1/4"-20 screw-hole to add various 1/4"-20-mount accessories into.
The Back Pad from SHAPE is a standard rig component included with most SHAPE camera rigs. Its design features a powder coated anodized aluminum plate and arm which are attached to a thick padding on the side facing the user. The pad is easy to both attach and remove from your rig, and it supports the SHAPE BOX attachment. Additionally, the pad's position can be adjusted to the user's preference – up to 2" vertically and 360° horizontally.
