Our Mac Mini M2, has a maximum of 2 display outputs. Will this work in getting 4 displays. 3 + 1 from the Built in port?
The Plugable UD3900C4 USB Type-C Docking Station (B&H # PLUD3900C4) should be able output 3 displays with dock and 1 monitor with the HDMI port. You must install DisplayLink for the displays outputs to work properly.

Does the docking station have to connect to a USB-C port on the laptop? Is it possible to use a regular USB port?
The Plugable UD3900C4 USB Type-C Docking Station can function at limited capacity when connected to a host computer via USB-A.
