Typical great build quality Profoto is known for. Works beautifully with my A1 pro photo speed light. Love the clic system!

I purchased 2 as soon as they were released directly from Profoto so that I can add the OCF Magnum Reflector to my 2 new A2s. It's heavy, it scratches the A2 rubber sadly and when used with the OCF Magnum Reflector doesn't allow the A2 to push far enough forward to maximize power increase. If you also stack the OCF grid and gel holder you will find the A2 lens is even further back within the reflector. After my disappointment that the adapter scratched the rubber sides of the A2 body I used some gaffers tape to prevent further scuffs and scratches on the areas of the adapter that scratched the A2. You can stack Clic grid and gels as well as OCF grids and gels with the adapter and the grid and gel holder. Using the Clic gels and grids will push the A2 back further if using a reflector and the magnetic connection between the OCF II adapter and front of A2 with stacked Clic gels feels weaker and less stable.

Can I keep my Profoto A10 attached to my camera hot shoe and have only the top part of the Profoto Click OCF Adapter II connecting the Profoto A10 to a Profoto OCF Magnum Reflector?
Asked by: Celso D.
No. We don't suggest the following as the unit will become top heavy and also compromise hot-shoe of camera nor have enough clearance for light shaping tools.
