Available for download, the Ultra Analog VA-3 Upgrade from Applied Acoustics Systems is a virtual instrument, providing the sound of an analog synth for all your music compositions and productions or for sound design.
This edition is available to owners of a previous version of Ultra Analog VA. It updates the synth by adding a few interesting features. For instance, you’ll note the synth can give you two independent timbres in either stacked or split mode, effectively offering a two-voice multitimbral operation. Additionally, you’ll note the new ladder filter for a more traditional low-pass response.
Macros have been mapped as well, giving you quicker access to the key sonic characteristics one associates with analog synthesis including modulation, timbre, envelope, and effect. With a new Home tab, you can browse through presets and load up pro-quality sounds.
Many sounds from Version 2 have been both preserved and redesigned for this new workflow. Over 1200 presets are on hand to get you up and running. This software operates as standalone software and also with most major DAWs. It is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, and will work with AU, VST2, VST3, NKS, and AAX formats.
