Yes, the Godox Ring Flash Head for AD200 and AD200Pro Pocket Flashes is compatible with the Godox AD200Pro II TTL Pocket Flash. However, Godox has documented that this Ring Flash does not support HSS. Whereas, the Godox AD200Pro II TTL Pocket Flash does.

A reviewer notes that the AD200 Godox Ring Flash Head doesn't have high-speed sync. This is incorrect, right? Clearly, you should be able to use this like any A reviewer rated the product poorly, noting it does not have high-speed sync. But it does, just like any other Godox R200 gear, syncing to use TTL and HSS. Right?

You are correct. HSS is available. I have the flash. It is about your settings on your transmitters sending to the AD200. I was baffled by those reviewers comments.

Yes, the bracket on the Godox Ring Flash Head for AD200 and AD200Pro Pocket Flashes has both a 1/4"-20 and a 3/8" female receiver built into the bottom of the bracket for tripod compatibility.

You can use the Godox R200 for macro. If it is too bright just lower ISO, increase shutter speed, and narrow the aperture.
