Built with 60 drive bays that can accommodate 3.5" SAS-3 hard drives and 2.5" SATA III SSDs, the SA3610's storage can be expanded to have 300 total drive bays using four optional RX6022sas expansion units.
The HD6500 is equipped with dual 2.1 GHz Intel Xeon Silver 4210R 10-Core processors and 64GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory that can be expanded up to 512GB. Also featured are two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two mini-SAS ports, two PCIe 3.0 x16/x16 slots, and two PCIe 3.0 x8/x8 slots for peripherals and accessories. Network connectivity is achieved via the two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. For those who require RAID support, the HD6500 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, as well as Basic, each of which offers performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is also available, allowing each drive bay to be individually utilized. System operations are kept cool using four 80mm fans.
