Part of a "closed system" from iPower, these 3610mWh iPowerMax AA3610 1.5V AA Li-Po Rechargeable Batteries (4-pack) are compatible exclusively with the iPowerMAX AACU8 fast charger, sold separately. The high-capacity 3610mWh rating of each battery is equivalent to 3008mAh on a 1.2V NIMH battery.
When the batteries are used with the optional AACU8 charger, charging is controlled by an intelligent charging module inside the batteries. The charging voltage is automatically adjusted (under 6V), and the charging current is automatically limited (under 500mA). Each battery also has an LED status ring on top that works when the battery is used with the AACU8 charger. It lights up red to indicate that the battery is charging. It turns off when charging is complete. And it flashes red if the battery is defective.
