4K Ultra HD via XPR pixel-shifting technology brings over 8 million on-screen pixels to create incredible clarity across an extra-large projection. High Dynamic Range expands color and contrast so you can enjoy a stunningly vibrant picture with incredible depth and detail.
Well Suited for Home Theater
At 2000 lumens of peak brightness, the PX1 shines with brilliance so that everything you watch hits those sparkling highlights, voluminous colors, and deep blacks. The PX1 is perfect for home cinema, be it in the media room or dedicated theater room.

Hisense PX1 Reviews

Great performer at great price

I've been using a regular 4K projector for the longest time, but it required full darkness to really enjoy it. I wanted something the size a projector can deliver but for use during the day. With B&H holiday sale on this unit, it was too hard to pass up. The PX-1 Pro got great reviews, so I imagine much of the same technology is in the PX-1. I mounted my budget AKIA CLR screen with a 0.8 gain and was amazed at how great the picture is during the daytime. While I do not have windows directly hitting the screen, I do have ceiling lights, and some windows. Colors are very vivid and pop, thanks to the tri-laser. I don't notice any rainbow artifacts when scanning my eyes quickly. It comes with Android OS which lets you install y our favorite streaming apps (no Netflix which is not a big deal...just plugin a Chromecast Stick or AppleTV). I prefer using my Apple TV instead. It is 2000 lumens so it's not going to be as bright as its more pricier counterparts. In HDR dark scenes, I find I have to crank up the brightness and set to VIVID mode to squeeze out the most lumens possible. You may get better results with a better quality screen than my budget one. This won't be much of an issue during evening viewing where I use Standard or Theatre mode. Noise: you do hear the hum of a fan, but with sound on, it should drown into the background. The first unit I received made an annoying random chirping sound. I'm glad I bought from B&H because of their return/exchange policy, I was able to get a replacement unit without hassle. Funny thing was the first unit's projected height differs from my newer unit. The first unit had a mfg. date of Feb 2022, while the new one was April 2022 so I'm guessing they made some improvements to production during the time. The sharpness uniformity is quite good. I recommend adjusting the sharpness first before trying to adjust the picture to fill your screen. The dimensions of the screen changes slightly when you adjust sharpness. I also recommend not using the software geometric correction for the best image quality. You'll need a stand that sits pretty low, for 100, my stand is about 9. Overall, a solid package and deal, especially when on sale.
