For MFR #LH5P II -S there is a "S" which Portkeys does not list as a list. Is this the same model they list as "LH5P II?"
The PORTKEYS LH5P II 5.5" Touchscreen Monitor with Camera Control for Sony a6000/a7/R II/a7S III (B&H# POLH5PIIS) (in other words, with the S), is the specific LH5P II model with firmware designed (and licensed) to work with many Sony hybrid cameras and cinema cameras. The hardware requires that firmware, however, so there is no sort of universal camera control monitor option. The monitor and its camera manufacturer-specific firmware are purchased together only.

Does the HDMI output maintain a 10-bit video if fed a 10-bit signal from the camera or is down-sampled to an 8-bit video signal?
The PORTKEYS LH5P II 5.5" Touchscreen Monitor with Camera Control for Sony a6000/a7/R II/a7S III is a 10-Bit (8+2 FRC) monitor. It will loop out the same resolution and bit rate as the input signal.

No, the Portkeys LH5P II 5.5- Touchscreen Monitor with Camera Control for Sony a6000/a7/R II/a7S will be able to accept a maximum input of UHD 4K: 30. It displays in 1920 x 1080.

As PORTKEYS does not list the PORTKEYS LH5P II 5.5" Touchscreen Monitor with Camera Control for Sony a6000/a7/R II/a7S III as compatible with the Canon EOS R5 C Mirrorless Cinema Camera, it would be highly unlikely that camera control would be possible.
