ART BT-DI Overview

Stream audio from any Bluetooth-capable mobile device or computer to your mixer, PA, or recording system with the BT-DI Project Series Bluetooth Direct Box from ART. Particularly effective in live stage applications where there may be great distances between audio sources and their targets, this compact and rugged Bluetooth DAC is engineered for maximum flexibility with minimal complexity or hassle.

The BT-DI comes with robust Bluetooth support and a long range of operation, aided by a built-in antenna. The unit can be powered by either USB or via two channels of phantom power over the noise-free, transformer-isolated, balanced XLR outputs. A main output level control is provided and can be bypassed for a fixed XLR output level, and an extra 1/4" TRS output is also provided, which can be switched between stereo and mono to feed headphones or line-level inputs.

Flexible Bluetooth DAC
The BT-DI is designed to be an easy-to-use Bluetooth interface for your mixers, line-level amplifiers, or computer-based DAWs. With an extremely long range, the BT-DI is versatile enough for numerous applications, such as reducing long cable runs during live performances.

  • External antenna for long-range operation, up to 100' line of sight
  • Bluetooth 5.0 receiver
  • Simple Bluetooth pairing switch with LED indicator
  • Dedicated Bluetooth audio level control
  • Balanced, low-impedance audio path for audio sources
  • Works with mixers, amplifiers, computers, tablets, and cell phones
Dual Power Options
The BT-DI has two distinct methods of power input. First, the unit can be powered with simple USB bus power, using a single USB Type-B port for 5 VDC power (this port does not transmit data). The DI box also comes with a convenient ground switch for avoiding any ground noise from computers when powered over USB. An alternative option allows the BT-DI to be powered by two +48V phantom power lines through the XLR output jacks, which can typically be supplied on microphone input channels on a mixer. This method can be useful when transmitting audio directly to a mixing console.
Note:
This unit requires two phantom power sources to fully power the unit when not using USB.

ART BT-DI Reviews

Best BlueTooth solution for your Digital Mixer

I have an Allen & Heath SQ-5 and our team wanted me to connect thier media via BlueTooth, I bought the ART BT-DI and it works flawless. I set up the BT via stereo using XLR cables, and phantom power to power up the unit. So far we have no issues pairing and even did a distance test (line-of-sight) up to 60ft from our sound booth with no cut out, Definetly love it.
