Audio engineers and system installers in search of a compact line array system should check out the RCF HL 6, a lightweight, 2-way line array module that's ideal for live sound applications, including corporate environments, music venues, and houses of worship as well as touring companies and rental houses. The HL-6 requires a recommended 500W amplifier to power the dual 6" woofers and 1.75" compression driver, which combine for a 65 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and an SPL of 131 dB.
Due to its symmetrical design, the HL 6 produces constant coverage without break up or attenuation, maintaining intelligibility, definition, and signal strength over distance. HL 6 features a structurally wooden reinforced polypropylene composite enclosure, and it is equipped with two rear handles for portability.
High frequencies
- High-performance RCF ND840 1.75-inch diaphragm neodymium compression driver
- 900 Hz crossover point
Low frequencies
- Two 6” neodymium woofers
- Low frequencies handling down to 65 Hz
- Water resistant fiber doped cone
- Polycotton M-roll surround
- Hypervented magnetic structure
- The integrated fittings are both easy to use and reconfigurable, allowing the system engineer to create J-shaped and spiral arrays starting at 1° angle.
- The hardware is designed for easy and fast setup. Up to 16 HL 6 modules can be fastened on a single flybar.
- The heavy-duty front grille is powder coated. A special transparent-to-sound foam backing inside helps to further protect the transducers from dust and debris.
