Designed specifically for outdoor installations in harsh environments, the Vigitron MaxiiNet Vi3003WP 3-Port Gigabit PoE Type 3 Compliant Drop and Insert Outdoor Switch is the ideal solution for adding IP PTZ dome cameras and other devices to a single cable run. Supporting drop and insert capabilities, this 3-port switch can increase network distances by up to 328 feet while providing up to 60W of PoE and Gigabit speed transfers with connected devices. Multiple units may be cascaded, allowing you to connect up to nine IP cameras to a single network switch port over distances of up to 3,000 feet.
The IP67 rated weatherproof housing protects against dust and enables the switch to operate in up to three feet of water. It also works in temperatures ranging from -40 to 167°F. Layer 2 network capabilities eliminate the need for network switches, allowing you to save space on your rack. The MaxiiNet Vi3003WP may be powered by a PoE-compatible switch or using a separately purchased 90W wall outlet power adapter. With auto-sensing ports, no network configuration is required.
