HP 4001dne Overview

Featuring USB and Ethernet connectivity, the HP LaserJet Pro 4001dne is a network-based monochrome printer designed for work teams of up to 10 users. Although the 4001dne doesn't have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, it still allows you to use the HP Smart app (iOS/Android) to print from anywhere. This is done by using your smartphone's network to connect to the printer. The app allows you to print, scan, and get time-saving shortcuts for common tasks. The 4001dne also comes with HP+, which includes an ink delivery subscription, advanced features within the HP Smart App, and a two-year warranty instead of HP's standard one year.

The 4001dne prints up to 42 ppm in black, in 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, and it supports automatic two-sided printing. The printer features a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and a 250-sheet standard input tray. An optional 550-sheet third tray is also supported.

You can also manage your security settings. There are preconfigured settings right out of the box, plus you can add a layer of security, set configuration policies, and validate settings. Additionally, a PIN/pull option authenticates your print jobs only when you're present.

The 4001dne comes with a single toner cartridge. Supported replacement cartridges include the HP 148A Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge (2900 pages) and the 148X Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge (9500 pages).

With Forest First, HP calculates your pages and uses the best available forest science to guide investments in the world's most critical forest ecosystems to balance in equal measure any paper used in printing that may not have been responsibly sourced.
