Good Protection But a Loose Fit

When I first picked up an easyCover Silicone Protection Cover for Canon 1DX2, I was well pleased with a very solid fit. Now with the external physical design of the Canon EOS R3, a different story. While the cover provides general protection, the topside has a poor and loose fit, making access to the menu and rate buttons troublesome. I can understand the vari-angle touchscreen LCD makes for the less aggressive fit. To make for a better fit, I have looped a small rubber hairband around the viewfinder with a couple of dabs of superglue to hold the topside in place (see photo). Be sure to use the hot-shoe protection flipper, which will help. The other thing to note is that no order of tape will stick to the rubber cover. The last issue is the removal and insertion of the LP-E19 battery requires stretching out the band near the battery placement. Perhaps, I can put up with my jury-rigging as long as the cover can provide good general protection.

very poor design

This company typically makes good products but not for this body. One side of the rubber cover doesn't connect so it constantly slides out of position making buttons out of unaccessible. This is a terrible design and makes it more worse than not having it. They really need to re-design it and try for a version 2.
