This bag is only made of soft cushioning material, there is no hardshell material in it, so does not protect against sharp hit?
It depends on the sharp hit. If you drop the Lowepro Adventura TLZ30 III Top Loading Shoulder Bag on the floor it will protect the camera against that. If you need protection against a sharp knife for instance than you would need a hard shell case.
