Impact Light Kit Roller Bag #1 Overview

This small LKB-R1-V3 Light Kit Roller Bag #1 from Impact provides a safe and easy way to transport lights and other gear to and from locations. Roomy enough to accommodate up to three strobe or LED monolights with 7" reflectors or battery strobe systems, it has a solid, rigid unibody and will maintain its shape whether you're rolling it on its casters or carrying it with the hand straps. The durable weather-resistant nylon shell prevents moisture, dust, or debris from reaching your gear.

The bag has a padded compartment with three padded and adjustable dividers so you can configure the interior to hold lights and other equipment for easy transport. A padded removable interior lid sits on top of the dividers and creates extra storage space for stands and umbrellas up to 28" long. This lid has a large, zippered mesh pocket that stores cables, accessories, or personal items.

Protection from the Elements
When the weather isn't cooperating, the durable weather-resistant 600D nylon exterior protects your contents from moisture, dust, dirt, and debris. For added protection the underside of the bag has two long rubber skid plates.
Bright Yellow Interior Lining
Bright yellow interior fabric lining and dividers make it easy to locate gear under low light.
Adjustable Dividers
Three padded adjustable dividers cushion and protect your gear. Each divider is attached to the interior lining with heavy-duty touch-fastener strips. Whether the bag is laying flat or standing upright, your lights and equipment are held securely in place.
Inner Lid Panel
The padded inner lid is secured with touch fasteners and sits on top of the dividers to create a storage compartment for stands, umbrellas, boom arms, and other long gear.
Heavy-Duty Casters
The built-in casters easily glide on most surfaces and absorb the vibrations from rough floor or pavement, making transport easy. The case can be stood upright thanks to the two rubber feet located opposite the casters on the bottom of the bag.
Large Inner Pocket
A large zippered inner pocket is ideal for securing and organizing cables, microphones, and other small accessories.
Carrying Options
Use the sturdy folding plastic top grip handle to pull the bag on its casters. The twin carry straps are handy for lifting the bag in and out of vans or car trunks.
Dual Zipper Closure
The heavy-duty zippered closure extends over three quarters of the case, and the top folds back for quick and unobstructed access to your gear. The two zippers fit together to accommodate a user-supplied padlock for extra security.
Business Card/ID Pocket
A built-in business card/ID pocket is located on top of the bag.

I use this for all types of other equipment... You just arrange any padding to fit to protect your gear...

Exactly what I needed

I recently purchased two Amaran COB lights and needed a bag/case in which to carry them - instead of using the cardboard boxes they came in. According to the measurements, I thought this rolling bag should work. Turns out it was larger than I expected. You could fit 3 of the Amarans in here easily. It also just happens to fit - almost perfectly - the form-fitted packing foam from the Amaran boxes. I ended up trimming about 3/4 inch off of each side, but lengthwise the fit was perfect to allow both lights and their fitted foam into the case. The case is also just the perfect depth to include the top foam piece too. It left about 1/2 space at the top, so I put the removable "shelf" in the bottom. So now I have a perfectly fitted case for the Amarans. And at a nice price to boot. As for durability and build quality, I'll say that it hands down beats the old ragged JTL case I was using. I'm not super rough on my gear, so it seems it will last me a while. I'm happy enough with it that I'm going to buy another one for my Generay lights.
