I Wanted A Wired Mouse With Which I Could Move The Cursor And Execute Commands Without Moving The Mouse Around. Does The Job.
A few weeks ago I would have rated this trackpad a 2. Main reason ... it's very lightweight and smaller than other trackballs I've had ... it always wanted to move around. I made a simple modification that greatly improved it. I cut a piece of walnut board to 7.5 x 8 (could be any size you like). I velcrowed the trackball to that board - then added small, non-slip feet to the bottom of the board. It's now rock solid with ample space to rest my hand. One note … since the label containing the trackball’s model/serial # is on the bottom of the trackball itself, I copied that info and taped it to the bottom of the walnut board. While I did have a little trouble with my initial set-up – Kensington customer service walked me right through that process.
