Ideal for a wide range of near and midfield applications, the COMPACT C 32 Two-Way Loudspeaker from RCF is a professional, passive speaker with 600W RMS of power handling and numerous mounting points for everything from flown-, wall-, or truss-mount rigging with optional accessories. Sporting one 1.4" compression driver with a 3" neodymium voice coil and a 12" woofer with a 3.5" voice coil, this speaker delivers plenty of projection and the constant-directivity, rotatable waveguide provides coherent coverage of 100 x 50° with distortion-free sound up to a high max SPL of 137 dB.
The C 32 is constructed from high-quality birch plywood with a steel grille and features Neutrik NL4 speakON plugs in the rear for input and output. With compatibility for numerous vertical or horizontal mounting techniques, a wide frequency response of 54 Hz to 20 kHz, and a compact design that doesn't sacrifice accurate speech or music reproduction, the C 32 is a smart choice for installed sound in commercial or retail spaces, live venues, mobile sound systems, or any application that requires efficient, high-output speakers that take up as little real estate as possible.
- High frequencies: the compression driver's voice-coil design with titanium dome provides very natural sound with high power handling and the best durability over time. This allows lowering the usual crossover point for a perfect vocal performance at mid frequencies, also improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.
- Low frequencies: low-frequency transducer's design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF's quality control is very strict. Woofers are tested with a 200-hour continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels.
