Dual Flat/Leveling Base
The flat base enables you to mount your camera directly or attach a 75mm head to the base.
The leveling base features 15° of adjustment.
Use the leveling feature to quickly set up your rig on uneven terrain.
The dual flat/leveling base has a 3/8"-16 screw.
Three Leg Positions
Three selectable leg positions enable you to quickly set up the tripod at 24, 50, or 80° angles. Simply press the button and fold each leg to lock it into your chosen position. The last section of each leg has a scale that displays the angle for easy reference.

2nd Time Is Not the Charm

This the second time I've purchased this tripod so obviously I liked it the first time around. I am very hard on my equipment and my first 3204 lasted about 3 years under heavy daily use before one of the legs became unusable.
This time not so much. Why?:
1) It didn't ship with a center column even though it did the first time and even though it was advertised as a 4 column tripod.
2) One of the legs did not have the foam on the leg. Not a big deal? It is here in Chicago where the last thing you want to do is put your hands on cold metal when it already is only 20 outside.
The specs for this tripod outshine others that are over twice the price. (sometimes 3 depending upon the brand) This will be the last Sirui I purchase.
The Sirui customer service is awful. They do not return phone calls or emails. I've tried several times to reach them to no avail. Very unprofessional. Neither Sirui nor B&H sell spare parts. Unacceptable.

I do not have this tripod. I do have an older model that is comparable to the AR3204 tripod. One of the legs came apart and the tripod is not usable. I have contacted Sirui 3 times over the last 2 weeks using their customer care service on their web page. They have not answered any of my contacts. I have many tripods, and I can highly recommend Artcise tripods and ballheads. Their prices are 40 to 50% lower than Sirui and the engineering is far superior. Bottom line, when your tripod falls apart you are left with a worthless 2-legged tripod without support from Sirui.
